Invertek Drives unveiled a range of stunning new innovations at the recent SPS exhibition in Nuremberg, where a total of 48,595 visitors exceeded all expectations for the show.
The latest product to be launched was the Optidrive PCE, the high performance integrated drive motor. The IP55 enclosure with optional keypad or potentiometer is supplied with a universal motor plate to suit most motors up to 2.2kW power rating.
The all new Optidrive P2, to be officially launched during 2010, will provide World leading control for the latest generation permanent magnet and standard induction motors. Designed for industrial applications with high overload and starting torque capacity, this all new family of A.C. drives will provide open loop Vector control of standard induction motors with up to 200% torque from zero speed, or closed loop control with encoder feedback.
With Modbus and CANopen on board as standard, plug in modules are available for the majority of commonly used industrial networks. The OptiStick parameter copying tool with Bluetooth interface allows rapid commissioning of multiple drives and easy wireless communication with a PC or PDA.
Also being previewed before its launch next year was the Optidrive HVAC-R an all new energy saving variable speed drive dedicated to the energy efficient control of pumps, fans and compressors. IP55 rated, the new drive will feature BACnet compatibility as standard, an integrated EMC filter to meet EN61800-3 Category 2 and compliance with EN 61000-3-12. It also includes integrated PID control and multi pump staging.
