Optical fibre kits for creating Optidrive communication networks.
Optilink creates optical communication paths between Optidrives.
The specially designed optical lens focuses the infra-red light in the optic fibre directly on to the optical transmitter/ receiver components inside the drive.
Precision collets clamp the polymer fibre to the lens creating a robust, industrial and reusable connection system.
In general, low cost polymer optic fibre is used to achieve communication over 1-3m, however for more demanding applications high specification glass optic fibre can be used (contact factory with exact lengths required).
